Bookings are accepted on condition that the client understands and accepts the below mentioned terms and conditions.
A deposit payment of 10% (non-refundable) of the hire fee is payable at the time of booking with the full balance payable within 14 days of the hire date. If a booking is made within 14 days of the hire date, then the total fee is payable at the time of booking. No service will be provided unless cleared funds have been received in full.
Smoking is not permitted on any of the buses.
The client is responsible for the conduct of all passengers. If, in the driver or conductor's opinion, the client or any passenger is disorderly or unfit to travel, the driver has the right to terminate the booking. Should this occur, no refund will be given.
All personal property will be the responsibility of the client and or passengers and the Company will not be responsible or liable for any such loss or damage to such property.
If there are any changes to the route, venues or timings to that stated on the booking form, which incur extra mileage and or hire time, we reserve the right to make an additional charge accordingly.
The number of passengers carried at any one time must not exceed the licensed seating capacity and standing capacity. Crews do not have discretion to carry additional passengers on the Company's vehicles.
In the event of any damage (internal or external) to the vehicle caused by the client or any of their passengers or guests, the client will be liable for the full cost of repairs.
The consumption of alcohol is not permitted on any of our buses.
We will allow adequate time for the journey, but we will not be liable for any delays beyond our control, however caused.
Our vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standards, in an attempt to make them as reliable as possible. However, in the unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to, an accident, breakdown, puncture, traffic jam or severe weather, the company will not be responsible for any impact that a delay might cause. The Company will not be liable for any consequential loss or claims beyond the cost of the value of the hire. The company will however undertake all reasonable measures to complete the hire, which may, at the company's discretion, include providing an alternative vehicle.
In the event of the Company being unable for reasons beyond its control to provide a suitable vehicle for the contract, the Company shall have the right to obtain an equally suitable vehicle from a third party.
The company holds the right to refuse to enter an area where access is likely, or in the opinion of the driver, is likely to cause damage or injury, to either the vehicle or passengers.
- The Hirer must ensure that access is feasible for a vehicle which in the case of a double deck is likely to be 14 feet 6 inches in height, by 8 feet wide and 30 feet in length. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to ensure access is possible at both pick up and destination. The Company reserves the right to refuse to enter an area where access is likely to cause damage to the either vehicle or passengers.
All hire arrangements are entered into by the company on the basis of compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations. Alterations to journeys will only be accepted on the day if such regulations are not exceeded.
The Hirer cannot assume use of the vehicle between outward and return journeys, nor for it to remain at the destination for the hirer's use unless this has been agreed with the company in advance.
The Hirer and guests must remain seated at all times during the journey, as the Company operates an open platform double decker bus.
Hirers are advised that there are no facilities on our vintage buses to carry large items of luggage, prams, push chairs or wheelchairs. The driver and conductor in charge of the vehicle may refuse to carry large items of luggage, prams, push chairs or wheelchairs or any other bulky item or items placed in any gangway, staircase or platform where the carriage of such items is considered by the driver or conductor in charge of the vehicle to be a danger or where he or she considers this may compromise the safety of the passengers on the vehicle during its operation or any emergency evacuation connected therewith.
